Your Lie in April - Episode 6 (On My Way Home)

This episode starts with a small scene from Kousei's and Tsubaki's childhood where Tsubaki carries Kousei who's crying from a skinned knee.

Next, in Kousei's house, Tsubaki enters the piano room and starts to care for his piano. She apologizes and when she opens the window, she sees Tsubaki. Of course, seeing Kaori in Kousei's clothes, Tsubaki rages.

In school, Kaori also forces Kousei to join the piano competition with the piece, 'Chopin's Etude Op. 25 No. 5'. After a while, all of them leave Kousei alone with the piano. At home, Tsubaki calmly listens to Kousei's piano playing.

Each and every day, Kaori asks him for Kousei's image of the piece, and slowly, her words sink in. Tsubaki and Kaori walk home, and Kaori says that Kousei is trying to turn his suffering to notes.

When Kaori replies to Tsubaki's question with an answer: He's like a hopeless kid brother, she mumbles that Kousei isn't hopeless at all.

Tsubaki then receives a call from Saito and realizes that she was out of the circle between Tsubaki and Kousei. After that, she suggests to go out.

Tsubaki then goes to school and goes to support Kousei who's practising. She reveals her doubt of herself to Kousei, and Kousei thanks her for making his world colourful once again.

In the music room, Kousei then tells Kaori that his playing is useless even if he plays according to the piano sheet because Chopin whispers to him, "Where are you in all this?"

They decide to go support the Regionals, and as Kousei cheers from the side, her eyes sparkle but when Kaori appears, she frowns. Then, she remembers what Kaori  said about music, and then realize that she didn't want Kousei to look at anyone else with those eyes.

As she walks back home, Kousei appears to be waiting for her and silently walks up to her and kicks her ankle lightly. Then it's revealed that she sprained her ankle, and Kousei carries her home, very much like the first scene but in reverse.

When Kousei says that he wants the happy Tsubaki to watch him, he also comments lightly on her weight, and it lightens up the mood, with Tsubaki blushing. Then, Tsubaki cries, bitter over the lost.

The next day, it shows a new location with two new characters. One, a boy with spiky blonde hair, who has been waiting to get revenge on Kousei for all those years of humiliation. Another, a girl with long black hair, who is excited to defeat Kousei.
