This episode starts when Yu wakes up in the hospital only to receive the news that Ayumi has passed away. He then starts to mourn by staying at home all day, eating cup noodles. Days passed by, and he never cleaned up the mess.
Yusa and Jojiro try to convince him to eat by bringing cream stew for him, however, Yu rejected it.
Next, Shirayanagi comes by trying to help. However, when Yu asks her to run an errand for him (buy more cup noodles), she refused to go unless he followed. Yu, insisting that he wasn't sick or mentally ill, lashes out at her and tells her to go home.
Our next visitor is the landlord and two men wearing suits. In order to escape, Yu possesses them and walked out. He withdraws money, and uses the train to go to a place far away where he hopes the 'soaking wet guy' can't find him.
As he rests in a cafe, the TV shows Angel Beats anime showing.

I'm still pretty amazed that none of the animation has deteriorated. Like, I've seen in Gangsta how in some scenes, it's really, really bad.. And I see Charlotte, it's so freshhhhhhhh!

Things start to change when Yu starts to indulge himself in a game where he has to kill monsters to survive. He takes it to his own hands as he starts to grow violent and picks a fight with two guys who were hogging the game. Soon, he picks a fight with anyone he sees by not giving them respect.Slowly, he starts to overpower everyone.
Then, when he was about to take a line (drugs), Tomori kicks it away and reveals that she was following him the whole time, using her powers along the way.She claims that she was on leave on personal matters, stating how she herself, also felt responsible for Ayumi's death.
Oh my gosh, dem feels start turning up when Yu sees Ayumi cooking and hears her voice instead of Tomoriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!
When Tomori manages to convince Yu to eat a decent meal, Tomori prepares the Otosaka House omelette recipe by following Yu's mother's recipe book.
