The episode starts in the hospital where Yu is staying at.
When the trio (Medoki, Maedomori, Shichino) were in his room, they tell him the Shun has been stuck at the roof, mourning for Kumagami since then.
I don't exactly see a lot happening in this episode.
It's just Yu's friends visiting him and the weird thing for me is that when Ayumi tells him that Shun
seems to be 'disillusioned', it just seemed like he didn't care. Like he was just happy that he didn't die just so that he could take care of Ayumi.
Then he's just being all mature now like, hey Misa, you should go and express your appreciation for your parents. Like what. I am blown away. His reaction to Kumagami's death, well not exactly, Shun's depression mode is just...
...ignorant?
Gosh.
Couldn't there have been better dialogues or monologues?
So, he goes to talk to Shun at the rooftop after Medoki asks him to and Shun wonders about what will happen in the future now that Kumagami isn't with them, and Japan will be involved in the terrorist acts.
He leaves without saying a word, and BOOM!
Our beautiful transition in the hospital room leads to Tomori!
Yay.
He asks Tomori for guidance and when Tomori says that he could plunder every single ability in the world, he considers it. He trusts her judgement and goes on with it. And before he leaves, he confesses to her. Then she accepts, making a promise between them that when he comes back, they would become lovers.
Before he leaves overseas, he sees Tomori outside his apartment. She gives him word memory cards and he entrusts her with his ZHIEND music player.
AND THEN HE LEAVES.
NO HUGS.
NO ROMANTIC LINES OR WHATNOT.
NOTHING.
Way to kill my anticipation there.
