It seems that the scene was taken 6 years later.
Ko Yau Hin told Tsui Sam that on the day Tung Pun Sin disappeared, he met him in a shop that sold jewellery.
He wanted to buy a present as a expression of saying congratulations of their future marriage. He met Tung Pun Sin, he wanted to buy a ring but in the end, they both didn't buy anything. He said that a ring that Tsui Sam would prefer couldn't be bought in the shop.
Then, Ko Yau Hin searched everywhere for a present but couldn't make a decision all night.
Suddenly, he saw Tung Pun Sin lying on the ground, his hand surrounding the area he was stabbed.
He then told Ko Yau Hin not to tell Tsui Sam. Ko Yau Hin said that he needed to be sent to the hospital immediately and went to call for a ride but when he came back, Tung Pun Sin disappeared. He wasn't there anymore.
TUNG PUN SIN SCENE-----------------------
After Ko Yau Hin left, Tung Pun Sin walked unstably to an area where there was a boat. Not caring about his injury, he pulled the boat near enough for him to climb in. He then lay there, reminding him of how he could spend time with Tsui Sam as Tung Pun Sin and as Lee Ho. He then said something like see you again in our next life.
TSUI SAM SCENE------------------------------
She went to Pun Sin's home and took out a box full of letters. She took out a letter. In the letter, Pun Sin said that when he heard from the doctor that Tsui Sam couldn't walk anymore, he really wanted to ask God why He was so unfair to her... While every miracle happened to him, Tsui Sam didn't get a miracle at all... He said that if God was going to give him another miracle, give a miracle to Tsui Sam, he didn't need another miracle.
Tsui Sam brought a kid to the place where Pun Sin and her was supposed to meet every 10 years.
The kid said that the uncle said that Tsui Sam was waiting for someone.
Tsui Sam then said that the place she will meet that person is not her and not now.
Then, they left. Before they left, she said the same thing.
"See you again in the next life."
Honestly, I hate this ending! He shouldn't have died!
If they wanted to end it like that, they should show a happy scene like...
In the next life, they met but didn't know or something...!
